Beechwood Artists Group was established in 1996 and currently has over 100 members of varying experience from absolute beginners onwards. We are all amateurs, creating pictures in various media for enjoyment and personal challenge. There are
no entry qualifications for
membership.
Beechwood members come from the Chilterns area of Buckinghamshire – places such as Amersham, Chesham,
Little Chalfont, Chalfont St Peter, Chalfont St Giles, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Wendover, Great Missenden – and from nearby areas of Hertfordshire such as Berkhamsted, Tring, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth and Watford.
Beechwood
is affiliated to
the SAA which has over 45,000 members worldwide in 62 different countries. Individual membership of the SAA is optional, though recommended,
and recognised with a reduced annual subscription to Beechwood.
